Mission Statement

My Mission Statement

Enduring Grace!

I am at my best when I have peace and quiet time to recharge, have been praying frequently, reading and learning,  have been in touch with the people that mean the most to me and have found time to be creative.

I will try to prevent times when I am tired, rushed, focus too much on myself or the external things in life, and get too much input from the world around me.

I will enjoy my work by creating, interacting with other people,  finding quiet time to accomplish tasks, and have an impact in a positive way on people and or the environment around me.

I will find enjoyment in my personal life through creating, spending time with family and friends, reading, learning, playing, exploring the world, and finding time for solitude.

I will find opportunities to use my natural talents and gifts such as learning, listening, sewing, baking, gardening, being, planning, tackling the task at hand, and organizing.

I can do anything I set my mind to.  I will teach women about womanhood from a Christian perspective, travel the world with my husband and family and homeschool the kids.

My life’s journey is a rocky road in the beginning, but getting more smooth and beautiful as time passes.  It is filled with obstacles and challenges along the way which build and strengthen character.  I am living as an example and teaching and learning from those people whose paths cross mine.  I am guiding my children and walking side by side with my husband.  All that I do is for God and His glory and purpose.  I am doing it for my children and my husband as well, but ultimately because it is what God created me for and it is my personal path to ultimate joy and peace.  As my children age on this journey I see my range of people to help, teach, and learn from growing larger and more diverse.

I will be a person who my husband, children, grandchildren, and friends cherish.  I would like them to say that I sacrificed and gave willingly and happily of myself and my possessions.  that I was joyful and lived life.  That I was always learning and growing and finding ways to contribute and that I gave love where ever I was and whatever I was doing.

My most important future contribution to others will be a living example of what it looks like to live a joy-filled life of faith and love.

I will stop procrastinating and start work on:

  • getting more involved in my passion about leading women to a more fulfilling life.
  • spending more time playing with and teaching my children.
  • stop reacting in negative way.

I will strive to incorporate the following attributes into my life:

  • persistence
  • faith
  • love

I will constantly renew myself by focusing on the four dimensions of my life:

  • Physical: Keep running, eat healthy, yoga
  • Mental: read, learn, talk with and listen to others, get involved in my community
  • Spiritual: pray read retreats
  • Emotional: find quiet time, get enough sleep, laugh. play, spend time with friends and family
